Wouldn't if be fun
and wouldn't it be nice
If we were closer
Actually knew each other.
Wouldn't it be great
if we could be understanding each other
from not so far away.
Wouldn't it be great
for some alotted time
We would never have to explain ourselves
or give excuses everytime
We did something
because we would already understood.
Wouldn't it be fun
to be able to live
some version of a fairy tale life
To give a break to all this hate
pain
and unhappiness we feel inside
Wouldn't it be great
to be able to go our seperate ways
But still keep that line
Going through us
and just relax in the comfort of knowing.
Reason for writing:
I started writing this poem with a particular individual and situation in mind, and after re-reading it, I realized it could relate to a completely different man and situation, and have a relatively different meaning. Just thought you might be curious...and i like to ramble when given the chance..like now...haha
