the clown paints her face and goes out into the world with only the grace of god on her shoulders out amongst the people their judging eyes burning into my human flesh they whisper and comment they pointed and they stare I drown out the sound of their accusing voices everyday I hide behind the make up that makes me one of them no one seems to notice my sadness and pain or the tears that fall all they seem to see is that I forgot to paint the smile on me a fake a phony an impostor all of the above sitting in a suit and wearing white rubber gloves a bright wig and big floppy shoes out on the street looking like a fool dancing under the sun and hopping on one foot but no one noticed my pain and misery they only saw that I forgot to paint the smile on me in a world hidden behind a image an image that can be defined as false, fake , untrue no one notices you they see what they want to see no one noticed that I was indeed the fakest clown for all to see when I forgot to paint the smile on meBirth sign: Aries
