Sitting in an unordinary twilight
I close my eyes
And I can see Pachebel's Cannon
And I feel Spring.
The world has changed
But only through my eyes-
Now I see the beauty
Of the tree swollen with white blossoms;
Now I notice the presence of my heart.
Now I do not hear music-
I feel it flow in me.
I have you to thank
And you to give gratitude for-
I should not plague it with unjustice
By putting labels and words to it,
When everyone shall be inferior.
Not above hate or pain
It comes in many forms
many ways.
Holding my heart
You opened it
Not only to yourself,
But now I can let the insides
Flow into my words.
It has made me believe
That I am more than just two halves-
Instead, I am many pieces.
Along with holding my heart
It has opened my eyes-
I feel sorrow for those
Restrained where they find love by
The body we carry ourselves in.
Proclaimed it once-
For that's all it needs.
Secure so no need to gloat
Or put it on parade .
It shines upon me
And now I cast my shadow
For
Although I've seen
Dead End
At the start of this path
I will not deny myself
This....
ingrediant
journey
experience
lesson
trip
Of my life.
