Chance

by Thomas Pickering (Elen) - Capricorn

Chance:

Only with the help of chance,
can a mother go into a labor with four babies-to-be,
and come out with none.

Only with the help of chance,
can a man step outside,
and have his life ended by a stray bullet.

Only with the help of chance,
can a healthy baby come down with menengitus,
and never walk or talk.

Chance:

Only with the help of chance,
can you read A poem,
and be touched forever.

Only with the help of chance,
can you meet your spous,
and live happily ever after.

Only with the help of chance,
can you be born into life,
and live it Chance by Chance.

Reason for writing:

Some say the greatest journey of life is death, and some say it is to climb a high mountain or "Be All That You Can Be". I say the bigest, longest, greatest journey is making it thourgh birth; then you live your life, Chance by Chance.
