You ask me why I don't give up Just turn my back and go You're an asshole, you say Nothing more than that But if only that was it And if only, I thought of you that way Then wouldn't my life be easier? But it isn't And I'm happy about it For I wouldn't have had such a wonderful guy like you in my life Why? Why do I care so much? Let me atleast try to tell you For there's no way I can possibly tell you all the joy you have brought into my life You taught me to not give up Even when there was nothing left to fight for And when it seemed as though everything in the world was going against me You taught me strength and endurance And how to fight my own battles Fighting against others who knocked me down Or tried to rise above me You taught me how to trust someone To truely open up and just act like myself Even if I'm the only one who seemed to like me For who I am You taught me how to love How to give and also to recieve And how to let someone into my heart Even though, at times, it was difficult To tell who I should and who I shouldn't You taught me how to laugh my way through the tears Dust the anger off as though it were A piece of dirt You taught me the word sacrifice To give up something I love If it meant that someone else was to get something out of the deal You taught me how to rise above something that was pulling me down Chaining me and drowning me as though it were the end of life all together But most importantly, you taught me how to love someone To accept their faults and weaknesses As I would their strong points And to love you As a friend, companion, and partner for all times.Birth sign: Scorpio
