Close your eyes and take me away to the rainbow just beneath the stars and the moon to the world made of stone where nothing gets broken only cracked a land with fairies in little blue dresses and slippers made of rubies and glass a land with princes and dragons and men in funny little hats Take me to that place up in the sky to a land of dreams up far beyond the pinkish red sky let me fly with the birds whose wings are made of silver with eyes made of rhinestones and pearls let me be a little girl dancing barefoot out in the summer rain again in a land of fantasy and dreams Did you see that a unicorn with diamonds for eyes and a fur socks for his hoofs look at him running freely in that garden of red roses that smell so sweet dive with me into the turquoise seas let drops of emeralds kiss your feet swim with the dolphins and the blowfish underneath take me away to the land of dreams the land outside of my reality take me to the place I need to be cry tears of joy and watch them turn into crystals see the magic in my eyes watch me come alive kiss the smile that spreads across my face come into my castle that’s made of love and rainbow colored clay sit down on my sweet licorice couch we will have a glass of honey tea and you can tell me all about you we can dress in cloth fit for kings then off to take a walk into the forest with robin hood the prince of thieves we will search for buried treasure then retreat back to the lake where we will blow bubbles into the clouds and watch them fall back down on to our noses take me away to a land made of dreams a fantasy world where I can be a little girl all over again we will dance barefoot under the moon light I will reveal my purple painted toenails and when the stars come out to shine down on me I will close my eyes and rub the genie in the gold plated lamp he will appear in a cloud of green smoke I will wish that you take me a way to a land of dreams a land of fantasy
