Destitute Man

by Picoman - Aries

Alone he walks no light or sun to guide his path
Sustained countless injuries, so feared is the wrath
When he prays for his life to end, no one hears those cries
But he'll live forever in the damnation of the fires

Why is life so unforgiving, unrelenting pain
Drives us to do the things that are not sane
Open our wrists and spill the blood
It bleeds our emotions, comes in the flood

Locked in death's embrace
Time to murder the pride contained inside
Never could be like you the way I wanted
Shut out of my own life, left to be destitue
Alone for eternity

Homeless are my feelings, no love left in them
But still I am left to wander in the lives of nomads
Searching the earth, for wonders unexplained
Why was I put here to feel nothing but pain?

Alone he walks no light or sun to guide his path
Sustained countless injuries, so feared is the wrath
When he prays for his life to end, no one hears those cries
But he'll live forever in the damnation of the fires
