Awoken by a startling dream I'm with him now The one I chased for months The one who now holds my heart in his palms With no luck of it being returned You came back last week For a few days to visit The one I was so close to falling for The one who I came so damn close to... I got to the edge and turned around The dream came to me last week After finding out the truth That your feelings for your love changed I am nothing but a friend But saying goodbye to you in the car We kissed with such a passion I awoke with a guilt ridden heart
