This Heart Could Fall

by Heather Williams - Libra

Saying goodbye to one another
Makes me look forward to when I see you next
You place your hands upon my hips
Pull me into you
Pressing your soft lips gently
On my forehead
Until I raise my lips to them
It all reminds me of the day
When I had once again harmed myself
And you hit my hand so hard
That you had to let in linger in yours
So I wouldn't feel so damn bad
And now we're on the same wave
Thinking each other's thoughts
And calling one another at the same time
