she grew up in the suburbs but she liked to pretend she was from the ghetto it made her appear fearless on the outside but on the inside she was just a scared little girl looking for someone to love her she always said that her boys took care of her and they had her back no matter what she said that I was suppose to be her friend but I didn’t understand she came over one night crying said that she had been raped by the guys and now she was pregnant she said that her father had kicked her out and she wasnt allowed back home I told her to stay here with me but she said that she had it covered her boys would take care of her well your boys lied now its me who is sitting here crying over you did they care that you died defending the name of your gang defending that holy name the bloods no i dont think so it didnt matter to them did they care that the bullet when through your heart killing you instantly destroying the lives of your friends and family who is going to take care of your son he will never know his mommy surely not them your not as brave as you thought your were just a scared little girl running from the cops girl you grew up in the suburbs why did you have to pretend you were from the ghetto why didn’t you let go of those boys I know you wanted love and affection and they gave you all their attention when you had your clothes off and blood on your hands you made me your enemy and I was your friend I knew something bad was going to happen I visted your grave quite often and never once do I see the boys that were suppose to take care of you they are too busy recruiting another suburban shelterd girl just like you someone who will do anything and everything just to belong it’s kind of sad I wish you would have known no one is there for you when you can’t hold your own
