FaLLen AngeL

by chritty - Aries

she grew up in the suburbs
but she liked to pretend she was from the ghetto
it made her appear fearless
on the outside
but on the inside
she was just a scared little girl
looking for someone to love her
she always said that her boys took care of her
and they had her back no matter what
she said that I was suppose to be her friend
but I didn’t understand
she came over one night crying
said that she had been raped
by the guys
and now she was pregnant
she said that her father had kicked her out
and she wasnt allowed
back home
I told her to stay here with me
but she said that she had it covered
her boys would take care of her
well your boys lied
now its me who is sitting here crying
over you
did they care that you died
defending the name of your gang
defending that holy name
the bloods no i dont think so
it didnt matter to them
did they care that the bullet when through your heart
killing you instantly
destroying the lives of your friends and family
who is going to take care of your son
he will never know his mommy
surely not them
your not as brave as you thought
your were just a scared little girl running from the cops
girl you grew up in the suburbs
why did you have to pretend you were from the ghetto
why didn’t you let go
of those boys
I know you wanted love and affection
and they gave you all their attention
when you had your clothes off
and blood on your hands
you made me your enemy and I was your friend
I knew something bad was going to happen
I visted your grave quite often
and never once do I see the boys
that were suppose to take care of you
they are too busy recruiting another suburban
shelterd girl just like you
someone who will do anything and everything just to belong
it’s kind of sad I wish you would have known
no one is there for you when you can’t hold your own
