My skin
muscles
bones
Essence
Ripples
To the familiarity
Or the the quality about you
That is still alluding me-
It has been words of seduction
and ones of pure kindness
Some of fear
And some fear-envoking.
Accompanied by contentment
and longing at the same time
They have started in my heart
Some started in my mind
The others...from where ever they damn well please.
For venturing in my uncharted territory
for hoping to hear those words of praise
to put to ease my insecure ways
For anticipating the time
I can give back all you've given me.
For acknowledging this may not have a happy ending-
Products of the tears I am not crying.
For letting go and accepting the risks
the consequences I am taking.
