tomorrow

by Antwan Fields - Aries

tomorrow comes quick, has a purpose
it has come to take me away
transplant me over nonexistant time
place me in another day
tomorrow i'll share a kiss, with someone who won't remember
tomorrow i'll probably kiss another that isn't you
tomorrow it will be a choice, in another day i'll be through
and i stand here, my life alone
its you with who i fall in love
you'll be with me through push and shove
save tonight, tomorrow won't be kind
come tomorrow, i'll never ever find
save tonight, tomorrow won't be kind
come tomorrow, and now im in a bind
gone again, fighting an uncivil war
that i know that i'll never win
to quiet all the monsters down
that spring up from within
but the end is coming fast
to bring about my last sight
so ask me why im out here
and i'll tell you because its night
and the embers, the heat of, passion
protect each other from the rain
so i'll come with you and i'll see
that you'll probably forget me
and i'll
save tonight, tomorrow won't be high
come tomorrow, i hope that that's no lie
save tonight, throught the night i fly
come tomorrow, tomorrow i won't cry
4:30AM, i want to sleep
im fighting back a yawn
i see the sun breaking out
its just become dawn
(and its tommorow, i've made it through another day)

Reason for writing:

ever heard the song "save tonight" by eagle-eye cherry? i consider my poems beats tributes to good songs. this is my after hours life in a nutshell
