Jail

by Nicole M. - Gemini

A regular room
   Happy alone
Sitting by myself
But now you've started
Shooting bars
From the floor
To the roof.
   Most are the products
Paranoid
   Am I assuming too much
You come running at me
Full speed ahead
Atleast when my back is towards you
But the breaks come in too handy
When you see my face
      And avoid my eyes.
A few more bars
    Were presents from guilt trips
And you say the "I'm sorry" at the end
The strongest ones
     Invisible to anyone but me
My medium you use to hurt me, and you do it
Innocently.
Here I sit
In my jail cell built by U Construction Company
You sit right next to me
   Keeping potential visitors away
I stretch my hand
They sometimes stretch their own
You grab mine fast, hold it behind my back
And rape me the way
You wish I would love you.
