Daylight brings a stinging truth, It tells no lies, bears all proofs. We try so hard to hide our faults, But daylight tells with screams and shouts. It shows things we hide from sight. That's not for me, no I like the night. When daylight fades we open our eys, No longer held back by the sun and blue skies. These things are beautiful, I know this is true. But they can hold you back if your unsure of you. The sun, with its glory, beauty, and might, You can keep those things, I like the night. The hustle and bustle of life go away As the p.m. sunshine fades to blue-grey. The sky comes alive with the stars in the sky, And the people relax, go out and unwind. Times like these show the beauty of life. So fade away sunshine, I like the night. In the night we are free to be who we want. No restrictions or rules, no putting up fronts. Defenses drop and our souls comes out To play like children, dancing about. During the day we must keep up the fight So we can wonder and marvel at the glories of the night.Birth sign: Virgo
