Almost/Self Destruction

by Heather Williams - Libra

He didn't call back
Graduation is close
My government grade is slipping
My job gave me too many hours
Not enough time to accomplish what I should

It was sitting there
Gleaming in the light
So sharp
The tension could have been released

The thoughs overwhelmed me

I went to bed
And there was
NO blood
and there were
NO cuts

I woke up a stronger being
