the day you left my life
it caused so much pain and hurt
the day you walked out the door
you took all hopes and dreams with you
never knowing how much pain you caused me 
and took everything i believed
walked out the door with you
never turning back
to see the tears drop to soak my shirt
wishing you would turn around and come back
never to leave 
to take away this pain
saying how much you want to stay
never to leave
