Woman

by I. Juana Million - Sagittarius

Woman

Woman
What happened to you?
You grew so much
You finally found and heard your voice
You flexed your muscles and were still able to to carry the coals that you thought were your soul.

Woman
You looked for a man to see you as a
Woman
You wanted to be visible to others

Man
He saw you
He kissed you
He fucked you
He forgot you

Woman
Are you crying?
You still tried to see the good
Girl, are you making excuses for him
He used you like you wanted to be used
He wanted dick possibilities

Woman
You wanted visibility
Confirmation
Love
More importantly, Validity

It's an improbability
that he could have any sensitivity

Woman
You are real
Full of heart and soul
Don't be controlled
Personal visibility
Ain't defined by others
because you are creativity
and life

Woman
Tune up your internal voice
Pump up your personal growth muscles and rejoice
You are your own

Woman

Reason for writing:

In an attempt to recover from a recently ended romantic relationship, I decided to honestly and realistically examine what the core issue was of the breakup. The pain was not so much the relationship itself but that I had willingly rendered over so much of my idea of who I was onto someone else.
