I try to reach my hands up
I try to get a hold
I try to look up and see
But there's no hope.
I try to speak, just to say one word
I try to smile, and my lips stay ice-cold.
I try to cry but my tears have already dried away
I try to blink, but it is just too much pain.
I just want to reach up and scream
But nothing comes out…I'm as numb as can be.
And I can just feel,
His hand in mine
He promised he'll stay,
' Till the end' he cried
The image is slowly fading,
Slowly it's blurring away
"Don't leave me!" he shouts
I want to shout back, but I cant
The pain is almost gone, the suffering is almost over
"I love you" I whisper
Or maybe I just imagine I do
"Goodbye" he says in a shaky voice,
I close my eyes
"In my heart u will always stay"
