You were just a seed, That's what everybody said For me, you were a whole life ahead. I watered you, Put you in the sun, Watched you grow a stem Out of the ground. The days have passed, You grew so big, Beautiful flower in the soil, Standing all ~ alone. Everyday I came outside, Saw you looking at the ground, What were you thinking? I couldn't tell, All I know is that ~ your soul was not there. You slowly started falling apart, Your smile started drifting away, The sun shining down at you ~ Made you slump down the ground, Your beautiful petals turned brown. " You were so good to me" you said " You gave me the best place in the soil" " You gave me water, sun shine… You gave me LIFE" "But that is NOT what you need to survive" With pain in my heart, I watched you lay motionless in the mud, Barely living at all, My beautiful flower, My only flower. Why was I so selfish? Why didn't I think? Now it's too late, All I have left is a little corrupted flower… I know what you were looking for these lonely days of yours, I wish I knew earlier, That all you wanted was a friend, Nothing more.

actually i do not like this one as much cuz it was just an assignment
for class so like i had to write something about this subject
