the rustle

by Jacob A. - Taurus

You trudge through the park

The leaves beneath your feet rustle

The wind sweeps across your face

The branches above your head rustle

And as you look back on this tranquility,

You remember the rustle.......the rustle

Reason for writing:

My favorite time for insperation is the fall. Even though I'm only 13 I love to read and write poetry. This poem is about the peace and tranquility that happens during the chilly fall months. The peace that lets you seperate yourself from the world and become isolated. I hope you enjoyed this and if you will I wish you would E-mail me and tell me what you think. This is my first time publicizing my work on the web so I'm a little nervous but I think you will enjoy this. Thanks for reading.
