How Simple Things Were Life was much simpler, Back when we were but two. We had no place to be, And we did everything we wanted to. We didn't care who we played with, As long as the game was fun. We didn't care how well they played, But we regretted when the game was done. Back when life was simple, We didn't judge people by what clothes they wore. Back in the early days of life, God didn't close a window without opening a door. I now try to think what life has become, All my enemies and all my friends, I cant help but wonder how complicated things will get, By the time I see how life ends. How simple life was, Back when little things didn't matter, Back when we were happy just to be, Now how hard will life become? I’ll just have to wait and see.Birth sign: Cancer
