The Way Things Work It's amazing how life has its way, To help people when they go astray. Just think back not even a full year ago, And wonder if something different happened, How many different people would you know? What if we didn't meet each other that day, Would we have met each other some other way? Or what if you lived somewhere else, Would we still have found each other? Just the thought of not being with you, Makes me glad things happen the way they do. You could have been someone I would never meet, I would just see you as I walked down the street. Or maybe one of those strangers I saw, Could have been my best friend, Although we pass without a greeting, We could have been friends, We just needed to be introduced, a friendly meeting. It's amazing how life has its way, To help people when they go astray. Just think forward for next year or so, And wonder what things might happen, And how many more people you will know.Birth sign: Cancer
