Standing in an open field Sound of river rushing by Look around, all is white Moon is bright in the sky Walk across new fallen snow Crunch beneath the feet Feel the air crisp and clean There is no need for heat A snowball I throw at you You throw one back at me This is a moment in time Nowhere I'd rather be This time we have shared Will live for years I know. The time we shared together In a Midnight Field of Snow (c) Herb Dunn
Reason for writing:
A midnight drive landed us in the High Sierras. Then a walk in the snow under a bright moon. Lots of talking and sharing that night.
Birth sign: Gemini
