Lost

by Karen - Leo

Cliock,
cliock,
cliock echoes, growing distant now as I slip away.

See a reflection, funny, I see her often, too often some will say.

Open wider eyes and this trance will break. See deeper and the meanings will be true.

Smile face and not just lips, smile for me please. Smile with a heart, whole, smile it will all be better.

Grasp hand you can, you did once, when your soul was free, what is so different now?

Prison silent imprisoner more so.

Cliock,
cliock,
cliock echoes growing louder now. I think I'm going back.

Here and gone so vague is the difference.
Where am I now?
I see something a person. Tired, heart seems worn....somethings shining, dull but sure.

The echo pounding now I beleive I am here, and gone no more.
