I guess

I guess what i wanted
to hear was,
That you would stay with
me forever.

I guess what i wanted 
to know was, 
Your hand would never
leave mine.

I guess what I wanted
to feel was,
Your touch with
me always.

I guess the only thing,
I really want to know is,
That i'm not loving alone.

Reason for writing:

    This was inspired by someone who i thought I loved once.
