I wish I were your coffee cup What you reach for first thing In the morning The bearer of the stuff without Which you would not wake up To have your lips Wrap Themselves around mine, Your hands about My person as you sip Again and again and again Until nothing remains. Then to have you turn on The tap And rinse me out Sometimes slowly Sometimes quickly Depending On how much time You can spend on me Without it becoming A crime.
