I renounce my two-bedroom kingdom, my throne is in the dumpster, tattered, frayed, broken legs, my court jester, the cable box, he quit, I couldn't afford to be his patron any longer, my wine steward, fairweather friend, he is loving other queens in the valley, I throw my sceptre, universal remote, it crashes into the picture of Jim Morrison, shards fly out and cut my queen, she packs her carriage, takes my prince with, I watch them exit, I make no decree, I don't deserve an heir or queen anyhow, who would want my kingdom now? My treasury is well depleted, the grail was never found, I turn on the stove and lay on the floor, I hold a picture of my past of reknown, light a cigarette, off to Avalon, Camelot is burning down.
