If I were to stand still long enough I would fell the earth move In its slow, steady course If I were to listen long enough I would hear the sunset At the edge of the ocean Close to the end of time And the beginning of life If I were to look long enough Straight into your eyes I would be able to see To the shadows of your heart And to the depths of your soul If I were to laugh long enough Those sounds of happiness Would turn inot the music of angels Heard only by you If I were to love long enough It would spread throughout your body A warmth of sunliht on roses After the first rain of summer With droplets of water, shining like diamonds If I were to live long enough Taking in new breath each day I would stay in this place forever With you by my side My strength is found in you A steady hand long enough for me
