Oh how I envy that black shirt you're wearing. Just to be close to your skin like that must be the best thing in the world. Oh how I envy that pepsi that you're drinking. Just to touch your lips must be like a dream. Oh how I envy your comb. How it would be to touch that perfect hair. And oh how I envy your tooth brush trying to keep up with that gorgeous grin. And How much I envy that girl, the one that waits for you every day to come home from work. She is the one that stole your heart. Oh how I am filled with envy.
Reason for writing:
This poem may seem like it's okay to be envious, but I wrote it to make a point. You won't always get what you want, but yet it is okay to long for things untouchable. Just don't wish your self into darkness b/c you have to try to make your dreams come true. Then who knows, maybe some one will envy you!
