THE BEST YOU EVER HAD...

by Erica Hughes - Libra

I was innocent and full of hope
but you corrupt me
One minute you love me,
next you fuck me
then you dump me.

I am not your bitch,
your hoe,
Yet you are content to try to make me one...
FUCK YOU .

THere are plenty of many ,
men to see,
who cherish thewoman that I am,
and the woman is me,
I will not bow my head and bind my feet,
I am the woman, yes I am
and the woman is me.

YOu think I'll walk away and remember you?
that you are permanently marked onto my
mind like a non-washable spray paint...?
You fucker you are no graffitti artist and the
paint you used was cheap!

I will rise with the sun,
and rays all the brighter will sparkle from my eyes,
and the glare in my mirror will be so great,
I will remember that I am heaven,
and heaven is me
I am the woman
and the woman is me...

You are content to believe that I will become
your BITCH,
I will lay down and spread my thighs and become
a ready and willing HOE?
When you should have been grateful that I
lowered my standards and gave you a chance,
you should have been glad,
don't be mad,
Because you lost the woman,
the best you ever had...

I look in the mirror , ready and free,
I am the woman and the woman is me,
You are welcome to believe whatever lies you told yourself,
but don't be mad,
because you lost the woman,
the best you've ever had...
