How do you know when you're at the end of the earth? When luscious land turns to desert. When the greatest of trees fall to their knees and the earth cracks at the tremor. This is were no animal lives, and no human can survive. In this place that's worse than hell, you'll wish you never came. The sounds of nature are not heard, and signs of life are nowhere. In this place where reality bends, this is were the river ends.
Reason for writing:
I was reading a story called "Where the River Ends". The name just made me think of a poem and the story really inspired the words. It's from a Reader's Digest book. It's about this girl who witnesses her mother's murder. she dosen't remember it all until later. it's a great story. I suggest it to anyone who reads.
