No Vacancy

by Rima - Leo

Pink water swirls down the sink drain
I look in the mirror and see the monster,
the one I've never encountered until now
I go back to the bed
  the cheap, creaky motel bed
I can see her staring up at me between the
  blink
  blink
  blinking
of the florescent motel lights
They shine in her eyes
  No Vacancy
She stares as if trying to recall something..
but her mind is as blank as her stare
She won't answer when I speak, although I
can't remember her name
Blood trickles from her mouth,
to the floor
  I wish it were words
  drip
  drip
  No Vacancy
