Her mind is fading away Nothing has been the same Since her husband left with the Lord She doesn't remember me much anymore She calls me by my mother's name She mistakes things She forgot who her own daughter was She walks aimlessly around the house Searching for things she can do She'll leave the tea kettle pluged in Until somebody else remembers Something she's forgotten to do
