Poem about nothing and everything

by Mildred Achoch - Leo

One and one
Isn't always two
Good looks can
Lie to you
Modern man's
Like a baboon
Go beyond the sun
To reach the moon
What's done is done
Except if it's not
Have fun
While your blood is still hot
Live and learn
Talk a lot
Or speak and span
Over someone else's quotes
Stay true to your clan
Even in court
Down with guns
Up with the right to vote
Get a tan
To conceal your spots
When will they learn?
Well, as soon as they are taught
My head churns
When I have the flu
Always have a plan
To pull you through
Don't pick up and run
When your bills are due
I've never been to London
Have you?
I'm a big fan
Of all that's true
Why can't she earn
The same as you guys do?
Half is better than one
And one and one isn't always two.
