I remember the good times and also the bad

I remember long talks we had together
I remember you said we would be one forever
I remember the times together we cried

I remember sweet love together we made
The times you held me when I was afraid
I remember the tears you wiped from my eyes
I remember now how you said goodbye

I remember moonlit walks on the beach
No dream of ours was too far out of reach
I remember the times I had to ask why
I remember now how you said goodbye

I remember when I look back on time
All of the mountains that we had to climb
I will cherish the memories 'till the day that I die
