Hull Fair

by Stuart Logan - Sagittarius

Hull Fair

To the visitor casual, unknown to the scene
they'll live to remember what they have seen
local or international, common or rare
their eyes will be opened, when they visit Hull Fair

White knuckle skyrides, that defy physical science
platforms that are spinning, as teenagers wave alliance
Walton Street, Humberside, make your way there
if just once in your life, have a taste of Hull Fair

Brandy-snaps and candy, toffee apples and cuddly toys
a unique social occasion, for girls and the boys
in the whole of Europe, there's nothing to compare
with the biggest travelling fun park, gathered at Hull Fair
