Fourth Of July

by Heather Williams - Libra

I didn't even know you were home
I told you what I was doing the night before
And who I was with and all that
We drove around town in the scorching heat
Sexual tension was mounting
Everything being taken the wrong way
Later that night searching for bug spray
The way you looked at me
Was just enough for me to rip my clothes off
And take you right there and then
Kissing my neck and ear so softly
Went back to the house
To find that there was nothing to use
Counting out change for a box of condoms
At 1:30am
Went back and I finally had my way with you
The 4th of July I wanted in 2000 happened in 2001
