Dear God~
I thought I'd write a letter.
At first I wasn't sure to who.
But, after I thought about it,
I knew it must be you.
I asked for all the hardships,
just spare the other two.
I can live the life you gave me,
and that is what I'll do.
BUT . . .
Please make my pain worthwhile,
Please don't let them know.
Please give me the strength I need,
and please don't let me go.
I know it seems a lot,
I hope it's not too big a task.
But this I promise you,
It's all I'll ever ask.
