I thought I seen an angel's face face today out of the corner of my eye. I turned around to look again; It was just a stranger passing by. I swore i heard your voice echoing in my ear. I turned to you to answer back, but there was no one standing there. I almost thought I felt you take ahold of my hand. I wasn't about to let let it go until I realized it wasn't you; Only my conceince telling me so. But then I felt you in my heart, and had your love with me. Right then I knew I wasnt being fooled, because that's one place you will always be.
Reason for writing:
My Brother, Phillip passed away in 1995 when he was twenty three. He inspired me to write this poem. I was 11 at the time. I am now 17. This poems helps me to remember that a part of him still lives in me. His love.
