Girlfriend I'm just callin my man, callin his beeper just because I can. Callin him to let him know I'm here. But what he didn't tell me is that you were near. Girlfriend you called me back, like you were big, bad and bold. But let us talk girl, about the lies he told. He lied girl, didn't even think twice. Might not be much for you, but it is when my heart’s the price. Girlfriend I called again, later on that nigh and I heard your voice clear trying not to break loose with all my might. The windows opened and the strong air flew through my long hair as I slammed the phone with all my might. I'm not mad girl, cuz I'm gon be alright. I might miss his voice as it tickled my ear, I might miss the tingle I felt every time he was near. But I'll get over it, even though you don't care. Those lies he told me, he'll be telling to you and the girl who's voice you heard you'll be singing my song "Only if you knew." So come on girl, don't lower your head with shame. Share a tear with me, just don't forget my name. If we share one I'm sure the pain won't be so intense. Do me a favor girl, smack the face of the voice I miss. Don't be angry girlfriend, don't shed a tear. Just letting you know, one day she'll be near. Time for me to go girl, lay down the burden of his name. Cross out his name and laugh at his game.Birth sign: Taurus
