Sad Story

by Kismo - Cancer

Everyone has a best friend, and you want them till the end.
But when it's over, what do you do then?
Jr., you were my dog, ever since we were kids,
May god forgive all the things that we did.
We had each others back, we called everyone wack,
Cuz we knew they all lacked, the friendship we had.
You were like a bro to me, and cool with my family.
Everyone loved you, they all let you be.
Me and you rocked, we had the game on lock.
Those were the good times, but there's always the bad.
You're gone, I'm sad, cuz you're all I ever had.
We were comming home one night, when some guys popped out.
We turned to the right, but they still followed about.
You told me "Everything's aight, everything's tight.
Just don't be afraid, they'll be out of our sight"
Then one grabbed me, and gave me a fright.
You knocked him down, and put up hell of a fight.
You told me to run, when we heard a click of a gun.
I did, Cuz I didn't want my life over and done.
I was getting tired, when all of a sudden...gunshots fired.

Later on, I went back to the place. I saw the police.
I asked "What is the case?" he said "Two dead in the streets
You were covered in a rag, and so was that fag.
The paramedics took you away, I didn't know what to say.
I began to cry, why did you have to die?
We didn't say bye, But I knew you did try.
I heard you shot one dead, while one stabbed you in the head
They ran away, once they saw you were dead.
"run" was the last word you said, and I will never forget,
The friend that you were, and the things that you led.
Until me and you meet, I'll keep your name in the streets.
In the meantime, Just rest in peace.
