Depression

by Guido - Gemini

in my cell i listen to a man burdened by pain,
Screaming, pondering in vein,
love is the light through my bars,
darkness is only present throughout my life,
like a tiger in a zoo,
a bilby in the wild,
on the run from myself,
the laughing bars,
tears are like streams,
falling and meandering free,
so lonely,
depression is not a game,
i have no one hit wonder fame,
nor a memorable moment,
such a long time since i experianced enjoyment,
or felt useful and participated,
i am locked away in a deserted room,
mumbling to myself,
she is always a pain,
im a fish in a bowl,
1 billion women outside,
i lay victimized and deprived,
everyones star looking bright,
in my bowl i swim in depression tonight,
