“ At the End of the Road”
There is a time in life when you feel you can’t go on,
And at times you think all hope is gone.
You come to an end in the road, but can’t look back.
There’s nothing in front of you, but the dead end.
You are caught in the middle of a horrible past,
Haunting you for what is coming next….. your future.
So where do you turn when there is nowhere to go?
Where do you go when there’s nowhere to run?
Are you ready for what’s to come?
You can’t take back the lies,
You can’t take back your cries.
All you can do is scream,
Hoping someone or something will hear you.
But there’s only darkness, no light,
A silence in the dead of night.
A screeching pain,
You feel you are falling apart,
You’re going insane.
Everything’s pulling at you heart
You are being torn by things that you can’t take back,
Things that only you can see,
Things that won’t let you free.
