a darkened sky, the only light. the moon and stars have vanished, into the deep and lonely blight. aborted by the world, the stranger looks around. he knows he'll never see the day again, tonight he'll embark on the eternal sin. he hesitates though, hoping someone can help. but as he reflects on his life, he can only recall pure strife. he cared for others, when no one would. he tried to help, when no one could. he loved them all, they hated him back. yet still he went on, his heart didn't lack. he soon realized, though, he was fighting a losing battle. he'd become a slave to his heart, and began to contemplate his lonely depart. a knife is good, or maybe a gun. but one is too slow, the other too quick. then he finds the definite way, that he's going to end his life this day. a jump from a building, to the street below. he'll fall to his death, and everyone will know. the fall gives him freedom, a few last moments of bliss. and just before he hits the ground, to life he'll blow a goodbye kiss.
