These are the words of a lonely man how can we not listen As he reads the words off the paper in the same way they were written These are the words of a crying man lost in his own sadness and rage Takes a leaf out of your book as he tares out a page These are the words of a dying man who wants choices not orders As he tells the world we’ve lost everything the past has taught us These are the words of a silent man who asks himself what he’s lost As he asks why we live with no purpose and die for no cause These are the words of a drained man who fears the look of his own eyes As he describes what he loves and taunts what he despised These are the final words of everyone spoken at the same time These words will be forgotten at the cost of no lives.
