Distance
In a painting, I see the flying like hills,
Going back into the painting further and further,
Then I see the everlasting sky,
First light blue, then it gets bluer,
Over to the right is the lighthouse,
With a ray of light shining through the dark valley’s of the land,
The mountains showed a man on top waving to a boat that had one person in it…
A woman.
Then I visualized them meeting each other,
Right on top of those hills that seemed to fly,
Then sat down and smiled at each other,
Under the everlasting blue sky.
Now I see everything will work out just fine,
This relationship between you and me,
Because like the picture we are so far apart,
But we were still meant to be.
Just because you are on those mountains,
And because I am floating on that river,
Does not mean it will not work out,
Because we were meant to be together,
Now grab a star and keep it in your hand,
And grab it ever so tight,
Now make a wish on it because…
I will be there right by your side.
