Today i saw a flower

Today I saw a flower,
it reminded me of you.
It's flowing in the wind,
the way your hair once did.
Today I saw a flower,
it reminded me of what i saw in you.
The gentle petals were your hands, 
that held me tight when i was sad.
The flowers long stem 
it was your long and gentle body.
Today I saw a flower,
as i sat and looked a tear rolled 
down my cheek.
That flower i saw today, was the one 
i laid on your casket the day you passed
away.  I took that flower and held it
close to me, and with that flower i felt
your presence sitting next to me.
Today i saw a flower,
and it reminded me of you.
