What I Have I have a mother who has dealt with back pains and Nights with nothing but tears Never forgot where she came from and Has dealt with mistakes from her younger years Becoming a young mommy to a grown mother and Being an example of a man to her only son, Who has no father figure or brother Non-materialistic, never cared about silver of gold She carried a family, which is more than muscles can hold She always kept everything in order The world is lucky to have her and I thank the Lord for her She looks out for children as if they were her own kid A mother strong enough for a nation Always left a mark at whatever she did If you were there at dinnertime she made sure you were feed If she spoke, you make sure you know what she said I have a mother who has dealt with back pains and Nights with nothing but tears But she always made it there in time to ease my fears I know that I will always have her love to endear.
