If I ever knew the worth of this Life

by Hajra - Capricorn

If I ever knew worth of this “Life”©

If life was cushy I would be more egocentric
And wouldn’t reckon the worth of it
I would sink in reverie of unfeasible assets
And misuse the moment of dear life

I would chase hottest style and make caption
And do wonder to make my image for people who really don’t care
I would fall in love with the wildest beauty
Who would never have a thing to share

Adolescence in which I had an outline of future
Never thought where it leads
But this day in this still moment I wish I knew its outcome
All I can say is farewell, would anyone even give a heed?

My dream is to live for a little while more
In which I can be myself and enjoy a bit
But I can hear death knocking on my door
It will take me by hand with a single hit
