Friendship

by Paul Bonsack - Taurus

As I sit here
Listening to the birds
I think of you
and the friendship we share

The way you listen to me
The way I love to listen to you

I think back
Back to the day when we became freinds

The things that had to happen
For us to be in the LMC
the same hour of the day
For me to build up the courage
to talk to you
For you not shutting me out
and talking to me

I don't know why I'm alive
but having you to talk to
Gives me hope that one day
I will find my way

No longer being lost
No longer not knowing
Why god saved me
Why I am alive

Reason for writing:

I wrote this peom for a really good friend. I could never ask for a better friend, she has help me through some tough times.
